Scam Warning
Like most things in life, the majority of people are
honest and good intentioned, and a few are not. For those few
interested in dishonestly taking our money, be aware
of these scam warnings:
- Spell Casting. No legitimate psychic condones spell
casting as a mechanism to influence your future. No amount of
conjuring, candle burning, incense or other magical mechanism can
change your situation in money, love, revenge, or dress size.
Do not be fooled by your desires.
- Curse Removal. A psychic may claim hardship is coming in your
life because of evil spirits or a family curse handed down from
earlier generations. When life is going wrong and you're
(desperately) groping for answers, this can be tempting
rationalization. Instead,
look within your own life, even if difficult, for the reasons.
- Healing Powers. No psychic should claim the ability to make a
healing influence upon your own life. While psychics can look into
your future health, the psychic is not the one who influences that
upcoming state-of-health. Only you control your body.
- Pushes a certain religious perspective. Instead, a psychic
should respect your own spiritual outlook, and not steer you to a
particular brand of god.
- Ask you questions about financial matters. Sometimes in
numerology, psychics will extend their questions beyond the range of
astrology, of your birthdate. In no circumstances do psychics
need your social security number, bank account, and so on.
- Installs a sense of urgency. Sometimes, a psychic will
foretell of dire consequences unless you take a particular course of
action the psychic recommends (which of course, involves additional
costs). Do not let a psychic rush you into making a hasty
decision.
- Too good to be true. Like anything in life, if it sounds
too good to be true, it probably is. If a psychic guarantees
particular results, makes claims of X% accuracy, or has only five
star reviews posted online, be suspicious.
